Simona Gargiulo in 2016 graduated in Environmental Monitoring and Recovery at the University of Rome “Sapienza”. In 2013 achieved the Bachelor degree in Natural Science at the University of Naples “Federico II”. In 2019, she obtained a research fellowship at the Italian National Research Council (CNR) - Institute for Sustainable Plant Protection (IPSP) in Portici, Naples. From 2019 until 2021, she worked as research fellow at IPSP, studying invasive pests, focusing on morphological and genetic analysis of phytophagous insect’s populations.
